| MAB was attended by some 65 pilots Hopefully some things never change i.e. Vernon Montgomery and Dennis Lott as Co chairs along with the outstanding support from the Tri-City Cloud Dancer. Good Folks and Good Friends.
The weather was cool and great except for an afternoon shower. The Friday night barbecue was very good and the Saturday Catfish and Crawfish were absolutely ou9tstanding…. congratulations to the cook, Gary Lott, Dennis's Brother. There were no crashes….alright! There was only one ducted fan flight by Don Peck….do you believe it? Eddie Weeks won Best Sport Turbine with his AMT powered Isobar. Mitch Weiss won Best Scale Turbine with his F-100. Jason summers, what a pleasant young man, won $100 for the most flights. Paul Lott, man can he fly a Firebird, won $50 for the second most flights. Phil Nusa won $25 for the third most flights. There will be a 12th MAB in 03.
