"2001"
EVENT REPORT

Their philosophy, and I quote: "Our club relies on guest pilots to put on the show for our spectators. We specialize in hospitality and our goal is to make this the most fun and hassel-free event of your season. Ask any pilot who was there!"
As it says, "Ask any pilot?" If you find an exception, we would certainly like to know who and why. This is, without a doubt, the very best, exclusive R/C Field that we have the opportunity to enjoy with our very best jet friends.
This event draws a sizable number of spectators due to a very extensive advertizing/promotional effort by the Winamac AeroModelers, Inc. This includes the news media, flyers, posters, roadway signs, JPO sponsorship, e-mails, and personal phone calls, as well as their proven track record, all these years of having accomplished their goal.
The admission is free but man does Marvin and crew dish out the egg sandwiches, worst (with all the trimmings), hotdogs and porkburgers (by the thousands, yes, we counted). The proceeds are used to support the facility and put on the event. And, what an event! See you on the flight line in 2002.
